iOS not recognizing acceptable CA checklist returned from Apache for mTLS

I’ve mTLS working between iOS and an Apache www server, besides iOS isn’t receiving the checklist of acceptable CA’s for consumer certificates.

That is purported to be obtainable in URLAuthenticationChallenge.safety.distinguishedNames to assist the person select which certificates to make use of for URLSession problem.

Utilizing

openssl s_client -showcerts -servername x.com -connect x.com:443

I get the next output (with x for privateness)

Acceptable consumer certificates CA names
/C=US/ST=CA/L=x/O=x/OU=Dev/CN=x.com/emailAddress=x

The CA cert is self-signed. I’m wondering whether it is lacking one thing iOS wants?
